A brand design refresh that’ll have you saying “I do”
Florido is all about helping perfect matches capture their perfect moments of love. Not to get too mushy here, but we think we found our perfect match in Florido! The Brisbane team is driven by a shared philosophy to make the experience with them, a personalised one. In fact, they’re so dedicated to this personalised experience that they actively check in with their brides and grooms from their initial booking, leading up to their special day, to get to know them, what’s important to them, and how they can best capture their day for them. They were doing all this manually, with paper based forms, self-managed calendar entries and reminders, and a series of face-to-face meetings. While we’re all for face-to-face time, the process was a lot for Florido to manage and fostered some serious risks.
Our mission was to refresh their brand design, keeping it current and moving forward. We achieved this through creating a new custom logo design, with fully custom designed type, and updating their colour palette based on predictions for the next 10-years and with subtle connections to the founder’s love for the land she grew up on (Byron Bay). We also designed a custom website to showcase their talents with a pretty handy digital form for prospective clients. The final brand design is asymmetrical — edgy, but also balanced overall (like love).
