The LUXE unboxing experience
LUXE Botanics was founded on the philosophy of allowing nature to nurture. Founder, Jené Roestorf, created a mindful skin care range that connects science and the environment.
As a business that focuses primarily on e-Commerce sales, their customer touchpoints were limited. Their opportunity to guide their customers on a journey to discover and experience their brand was limited. Our objective was to design an extension of the brand ethos we helped curate, something that spoke to LUXE’s customers immediately upon receiving their delivery. Thoughtful design and considerate materials allowed us to create an experience that will have customers waiting by their front door as soon as their mouse clicks confirm order.
Let’s not forget about the cost though. We took what could have been quite an expensive feat and achieved an assembly cost equivalent to wrapping something in tissue paper and slapping a sticker on it.
We can proudly say this design not only won us gold at the 2019 QLD PICA’s, but also at the National Print Awards. If that isn’t impressive enough for you, it was also featured in the Australian Parliament House. Even better still, this design and ultimately the experience it creates, has led to an increase in user generated content and the promotion of the brand by influential influencers. Customer retention also increased to 21% and customer advocacy continues to grow.
