Not now, not ever
Putting an end to domestic and family violence in Queensland.
Enthusiastically driven by the Honourable Dame Quentin Bryce, the Not Now, Not Ever report made a stand against domestic and family violence. Aiming to to drastically shift the state of affairs, the report raised the historically socially shamed topic of violence from the shadows, and told the stories of those who’ve suffered, and those who work to stop the violence.
The overall look and feel of the report was conscientiously crafted to be not only sensitive to the matter, but to also symbolise the daring and resourcefulness it takes to affect change: the use of original hand painted watercolours introduce a sensitivity and tenderness; the subtle texture of the canvas-like cover stock connects the visual and physical design, while the contrasting internal coated stock demands a seriousness; and the colour palette evokes subtle emotions of compassion, belief and hope.
